Reviews
I hate to give a bad review because honesty the hotel could be perfect with just a few tweaks. I always try to be objective and compare places. So, compared to other 4-star hotels I am giving 3,5 stars for the following reasons:
1) The gym was less than basic. Dumbells up to 8kg, there was no multi-exercise machine, no benches. Even though it’s small, it could provide more. It gave the bare minimum.
2) The breakfast (again compared to other 4-star hotels) was limited. Not as many options, not a big variety. My husband who’s trying to eat 100% vegan, had just a few options.
3) The pool space was cute, the hydro-massage didn’t have a lot of pressure. Also, in order to get down there you had to get the left elevator but there was only one button calling both elevators. So there was actually no way to call the correct one which leads you to the fitness/pool space.
- we felt like the value for money wasn’t quite there, but it can be so easily reached. The rooms, staff and location were excellent and we did enjoy our time. For someone who doesn’t care about our concerns, it’s a very nice hotel perfectly located.
The staff is cordial and helpful. The rooms have a comfortable size. There were two good-sized wardrobes in the bedroom. The bed was too soft for my taste, but comfortable nonetheless. The towels were replaced often and also smooth and perfumed.
The hotel is also well-located, with plenty of good restaurants nearby and two metro stations.
Since we stayed a week, we got tired of the breakfast. Always the same, with no variety. But a good breakfast for a couple of days.
I stayed here with my (new) wife, on our honeymoon last week, and we were extremely happy with everything to do with the hotel.
Whilst not necessarily the standard experience, when we arrived we received a free room upgrade, and a complimentary bottle of champagne in our room to celebrate, which was a very nice touch.
Aside from those extras, however, the hotel was great on its own. The rooms were very comfortable, and service excellent. The hotel's location is obviously very central, but it is also a lovely place to stay aside from that obvious selling point.
This hotel was quaint and centrally located. The room type we got was impossibly small - would definitely opt for a higher room category next time. But design was cool and clean. Service was friendly. Breakfast was expensive but good selection on days where you have an early start. Enjoyed walking around the area - lots of great restaurants and shops. And not far from the Opera House!
Quiet hotel with good access to some key sites and stations. The rooms are well furnished and clean, with good air conditioning and heating. My go-to hotel in Paris currently.
Everyone was super nice - I arrived during one of the Paris heatwaves, and they were quick to offer a cold water bottle even though they couldn't check me in yet. They also ensured we got all of our packages from Galeries Shopping Mains Libre delivered straight up to our room.
Wonderful hotel close to all that Paris has to offer. The staff are welcoming, the room was comfortable and the breakfast was good to start the day! The pool area is beautiful, the pool/large jacuzzi should be warmer not to say hot! A close walking distance to so many attractions. We will be back!
We spent a week at this lovely hotel and enjoyed everything about it. The staff is welcoming and friendly, the rooms are charming and very clean, and the location is nearby the attractions we wanted to see. There is a full breakfast buffet and the pool is awesome. But I really have to come back to the staff, who made my first time in Paris perfect. They were patient with my very limited French, recommended excellent local restaurants and cafes, and addressed every need (or anticipated need) immediately. If you are going to Paris, stay at Hotel Square Louvois!
The hotel is very nicely designed with spacious rooms and wonderful amenities such as it’s restaurant and indoor pool. The management and staff were very friendly, courteous, and informative. We had a great stay there and I would definitely recommend it to others.
